A House made of locks

This is a short story I wrote for my final in a storytelling class I took in Barcelona. It uses an original mix of poetry and prose, as well as present and past tense, in order to create a dynamic story of heartbreak and healing.

The idea came to me when I was reading through my old poetry and realized I could create a singular yet universal narrative about a writer trying to move past a meaningful relationship.
